How to fry your bacon perfectly
It’s not for fun that bacon is called the world’s best spice, and there is a high degree of fanaticism about how the bacon is cooked properly. It must of course be crisp, but being the best in the pan in the oven or in the microwave?
In the oven:
There is actually not much more to it than that, Kirsten Høgh Fogt said earlier in the article: Bacon slices laid out individually on a plate lined with baking paper and place in the oven at 180 degrees hot air. You can either preheat oven or put the plate in a cold oven, it has no effect on the crisp result. The only thing it affects is the cooking time, as like the pan depends on both your oven and individual tastes – so keep an eye on what is happening there.
In the microwave:
The microwave is the best if not to roast an entire package of bacon. There may be only 2-3 slices at a time. Place them on two pieces of paper towel on a plate and place two pieces of paper towels on top again. Once again, bacon pieces, of course, do not touch each other. Microwave oven must have full power (800-1000 watts). Cooking time depends very much on the microwave you have, then experiment with 10 seconds at a time until you know the optimal cooking time.
