Why is exercise more efficient than rigorous diet?

When it comes to weight loss, exercise is more effective than rigorous diet, according to a study of English at Lough-borough University. Scientists studied women’s hormonal and physiological responses to control calories through exercise and through starvation.

Participants that have drastically reduced calorie intake had increased levels of hunger hormones and lower levels of hormones that suppress hunger. They ate almost a third of the meal more than women who have lost their calories exercising . This shows that exercise does not stimulate hunger nor overeating.

Exercise is not always enough to keep off the extra pounds, according to a study published in the journal Current Biology. The body adapts to higher levels of activity , so that people do not necessarily have to burn more calories even if you exercise more, the researchers explained.

They found that the most active people spend the same amount of daily calories as people who are only moderately active. Therefore, it is very important to focus on diet combined with exercise to help came in the form , the researchers suggest.
