Donald and Melania Trump celebrated Halloween in the White House

The White House turned into a ghost house the day before: the administration of Donald Trump decided not to violate the long-standing traditions laid down by previous presidents, and have a good time in Halloween. It all started on Friday, when Trump met

in the Oval Office with the children of journalists accredited to the White House and presented them with gifts. Over the weekend, the administration building was decorated appropriately, tightening the web with spiders and bats and placing huge pumpkins on the lawn (in which the faces of Trump’s predecessors were carved). On Monday evening, on the South Lawn of the White House , a party began with the participation of the first person of the state, the first lady , as well as nearly 6,000 children (pupils of 20 schools) and their parents.

Donald and Melania Trump personally greeted the lined up children, gave everyone a few seconds and handed out presidential gifts – with M & M’s and homemade biscuits . The president himself and the first lady did without carnival attributes, but they positively posed with children dressed up in holiday costumes of skeletons, police, Star Wars characters and dinosaurs. The owner of the last, impressive costume made a great impression on the first lady, which was then written in the media.
