American judge rejects complaint from porn actress against President Trump

A federal judge in Los Angeles rejected a complaint from porn star Stormy Daniels against President Donald Trump yesterday, several American media have reported.

The actress, actually called Stephanie Clifford, wanted the judge to annul an agreement in which she promised not to express herself in public about an alleged affair she’d had with the White House resident. But the judge did not respond. He found that the actress “has already received exactly what she wanted”. Trump and his then lawyer Michael Cohen had already said in September that they would not continue the agreement. Clifford claims to have had sex with Trump in 2006. Not long ago, Cohen told Trump that she had paid her $ 130,000 ($ 116,000) in silence, so as not to compromise the billionaire’s election campaign in 2016. After denying multiple times, Trump finally admitted the payment. He fought to have had something with Daniels. In the meantime, Clifford has written a book about it. She nevertheless called the court ruling a victory. She said that a year ago she was threatened with damages up to $ 20 million ($ 18 million) if she violated the agreement. “Fortunately I have remained steadfast and continue to fight,” Dabiels tweeted. She also won, according to her star attorney Michael Avenatti.
